Airport Shuttle and Private taxi service
Getting around a new city is half the trip. At Dar Bassidi, we take care of the parts most travellers dread: finding the right driver after landing, agreeing on a fair price, and working out how to reach the old town. Your transfer from the airport is on us, and for everything else we organise a private taxi, so you can simply enjoy Marrakech.
Free 24/7 airport shuttle
Marrakech-Menara Airport is only about 6 km from the riad, and our shuttle meets you there at any hour. Whether your flight lands at lunchtime or well after midnight, a driver will be waiting for you and takes you straight to Dar Bassidi. The shuttle is free for our guests, with no extra charge and no surprises at the end of the ride.
How the shuttle works
- Book your stay and send us your flight number and arrival time (via the booking form or by message).
- We arrange your driver and confirm the pick-up details with you.
- After landing, your driver meets you at the airport and brings you to the riad.
- Check-in is possible from 2:00 PM until midnight, and we'll make sure someone is there to welcome you.
Note: If your flight is delayed, just let us know and we'll adjust the pick-up.
Private taxi service on request
During your stay you don't have to haggle or wait at a taxi rank. Tell us where you'd like to go and when, and we organise a private taxi for you. It's ideal for:
- Evenings in the old town, including Jemaa el-Fnaa, the souks and rooftop restaurants
- Sights such as Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum
- Day trips from Marrakech (e.g. Essaouira, the Atlas Mountains or Ouzoud Waterfalls)
- Your ride back to the airport at the end of your stay
Rides are flexible, so you decide the timing and the route.

Taxi rides and day trips are organised on request. The price depends on the destination and the distance, and we'll tell you the cost before you decide.
